چکیده

Correct nutrition with sufficient amount of optimal doses microelements efficiently supports high levels beef production and health the animals throughout feeding period. In sphere production, are needed as additional supplements to play an important role in productivity cattle quality products made from them. Providing a more bioavailable source deficient could increase metabolic process main nutrients, which would affect intensity bull growth slaughter meat parameters. It has been revealed that organic complexes have greater bioavailability. Throughout experiment, Ukrainian Black Spotted bulls 175–200 kg live weight were fed diets enriched by chelate compounds lysine methionine. Animals second group diet methionates following doses, mg/kg weight: iron – 0.05, cobalt 0.04, iodine 0.05 selenium 0.02; third received lysinates same microelements; fourth was given complex half-doses microelements. The studies carried out using methods: zootechnical (productivity), biochemical (chemical blood composition), morphological (weight sizes certain tissues internal organs), physical-chemical sanitary parameters statistical (mean arithmetic value its error, significance level difference between parameters). We found evidence confirmed benefits microelement supplemention essential aminoacids bulls’ diet. Feeding supplement during period improved hematological parameters, beef. determined best outcomes resulted (Fe, Co, Se I) had 26.0% higher mean daily increments 11.1% rates, they grew 25.8% intensively than others consumed only this 5.2% yield 4.8% carcass yield. experimental groups observed lower number microorganisms longissimus layer one field view when analyzing impression smears. After 14 days storage, qualitative reactions control positive formaldehyde, sulphuric-acid copper, Nessler’s reagent negative benzidine. samples doubtful. Less deterioration stored at low temperatures (0…+2 ºС) for groups.

Trace Mineral Supplementation of Grazing Beef Cattle

The nutrient quality of forage, particularly perennial warm-season grasses, is often lacking in trace mineral content to supply the requirements of most all classes of grazing cattle. Since forage is the most significant contributor to the trace mineral nutrition of grazing beef cattle, it is important to consider these deficits and how they may impact the performance of the cattle consuming th...

Mineral Supplementation of Beef Cattle in the Pacific Northwest

Mineral supplementation programs are a point of confusion for many ranchers. Sales representatives, university researchers, and cattle buyers bark at ranchers about how important it is to keep their cattle on a mineral program. Ranchers, however, are often at a loss as to how to assess mineral deficiencies, which mineral packages they need to purchase, whether they should have a custom mineral ...

Effects of Fat Supplementation on Reproduction in Beef Cattle

Introduction Adequate nutrition is critical for successful reproductive function. Inadequate dietary energy intake and poor body condition can negatively affect reproductive function. Supplemental lipids have been used to increase the energy density of the diet and avoid negative associative effects often experienced with cereal grains (Coppock and Wilks, 1991; Bowman and Sanson, 1996). Supplem...

Effects of stair-step nutrition and trace mineral supplementation on attainment of puberty in beef heifers of three sire breeds.

A study was conducted to evaluate the influence of nutrition and sire breed on age at puberty and first lactation milk yield in crossbred beef heifers. After weaning, 208 heifers sired by Hereford, Limousin, or Piedmontese bulls were assigned to either a control (CG) or stair-step gain (SSG) dietary regimen plus a mineral supplement with or without Cu, Zn, and Mn top-dressed onto the feed. Heif...
